Matthew Latimer
Executive Director
Leading the Federation's day-to-day operations, advocacy efforts, and member engagement initiatives. Serves as the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies and industry stakeholders.
John Adams
Director
Former Director of Financial Services at McMaster University (1992-1996) and Treasurer at The Old Republic Insurance Canada (1996-2000). Currently serving as CEO at Primerica Life Canada and PFSL Investments. Board memberships include the Federation of Mutual Fund Dealers and Investment Funds Institute of Canada, where he served as past Chairman.
Bill Charles
Director
Chief Executive Officer of Global Maxfin Investments Inc. and Global Insurance Solutions Inc., overseeing leadership and profitability of both the MFDA Dealership and MGA operations. Previously served on the MFDA Board of Directors from 2011-2013.
Élisabeth Chamberland
Director
Chief Compliance Officer at PEAK Investment Services (part of PEAK Financial Group). With over 15 years in financial services, she has been a member of the compliance committee for the Conseil des fonds d'investissement du Québec (CFIQ) for over 10 years. Joined the Federation's board in 2022.
Nelson Cheng
Director
Industry veteran since 1987 who founded Sterling Mutuals in 1996. Active philanthropist supporting healthcare organizations in Windsor Essex County for 25 years, with his company sponsoring the Tee Off For Teens Charity Golf Tournament.
